Crofty Groundworks & Civils Ltd were appointed to deliver the groundworks package for the Newlyn Skills Centre, a landmark development situated within the heart of Newlyn's historic fishing village.
Our scope of works involved the precise installation of reinforced ground beams and in-situ concrete, forming the structural foundation for the scheme. This was complemented by the delivery of a comprehensive drainage package and high-quality substructure blockwork, executed to exacting standards.
A key element of the project included the installation of a new Fabekun connection into an existing 450mm South West Water surface water main, requiring careful planning, coordination, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
Externally, we completed a full civils and infrastructure package, including the construction of parking areas and landscaped surroundings, contributing to a cohesive and well-finished environment.
Throughout the project, our focus remained on quality, precision, and seamless collaboration, ensuring the successful delivery of a vital community asset.
