Project overview
Crofty Construction was appointed to deliver the reinforced concrete and groundworks package for three new luxury holiday lets on a sloping site in Porthleven, Cornwall.
The brief: prepare the ground and construct the reinforced concrete structures that would give the three holiday lets a solid, long-lasting base, on a site that stepped down towards the road.
Our work: the package included reinforced concrete retaining walls to hold back the surrounding ground, concrete foundations and ground floor slabs for each of the three properties, and a full drainage package to manage water movement across the site.
Blockwork upstands and careful waterproofing detailing protected the concrete below ground level, while operated plant kept the programme moving across the terraced site.
Project outcome: all three holiday lets were handed over with their reinforced concrete structures and groundworks complete, ready for the build above to proceed.
